Done!

The sleeve is finished! I got the tiger done in Christmas of 2005 when I was a mall elf at Pearlridge and Kahala.  I didn't work on it again until 2006 when I worked at Hot Topic and met Jenn (who rocks by the way!) Since then I've had 8 sessions to finish it. On Wednesday was the 8th and last session for my right sleeve.  Coloring in the tiger completes my family piece.  My dad and I are the freshly colored tiger, my brother is the green dragon, and my mom is the rabbit.  I'm stoked that its finished because now I can move onto my next piece.  We're going to cover up my first tattoo (which is the kanji on my back...its too blocky. once you get good art you only want good art) Jenn will work on it.  I keep making her do traditional Japanese work even though that's more Ronnie or Billy's territory (the dragon is Chris territory) but Jenn did an awesome job! It feels good to be the first asian sleeve done by her! Another for the history books!

Talk about perfect timing with this too.  I finished filing my papers to graduate from LCC.  I'll get my diploma mailed to me at the beginning of next year.  I'm not participating in the ceremony because its a Spring thing only and I'll be at UH already.  So save your money (for now) and wait till I graduate UH and REALLY need the money (to pay back my student loans!)

Christmas is so close! I can't believe it already.  I'm done shopping and close to 50% done with wrapping.  Ha! So for the rest of the holiday season I can save money and possibly get my septum piercing soon.  Yes after saying that I'd never get one I'm debating it.  LOL

Well that's all for now. I promise to try to come on here more often.

Reflections on Broadway about the President

Ha ha, the title has nothing to do with the blog. =P

So America has a new President that promises change.  I've never one to be political but looking back on the speeches I understand why people got so riled up about this election.  It also was inspiring to see the videos like "5 friends" and "Yes We Can".  Maybe its a good time for change. More political? We'll see.

I've always been a fan of Broadway.  Ever since the theatre bug bit me in high school its been one of those things that "if people only knew what i was listening too" LOL I had a few songs from Avenue Q; the two most popular "The Internet is for Porn" and "If You Were Gay" but the other songs are just as good or better!

Theatre reflects real life.  It sucks to be you
